MY ICT JOURNEY

 

During this quarter, I have learned about the internet timeline, parts of the browser, electronic services and tools, datatypes, how the browser works, blogs and its types, the steps in creating a blog account, the domain name system, how the world wide web works, I’ve learned about the internet architects, and the software and Philippine pioneers of the internet, and finally I’ve learned how to create a blog. And I hope to learn more

The only problem that I have encountered so far is the poor performance of the units which slowed me down in working on my blog and I also still little knowledge when it comes to ICT.

I sometimes used other units when mine didn’t work so I could finish my work and to address my problem of having little knowledge, I spent some time reading the lessons our teacher sent us, and I was able to cope with the activities.

Moving on, I will do my best to learn about ICT and I will improve my skills in this subject and to share my knowledge with others so that they may know what ICT is all about.

A CITIZEN'S CALL TO ACTION

 Dear President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. I hope this letter finds you well. I want to express my gratitude for your efforts to improve our economy’s infrastructure and agriculture. Your work on managing the pandemic and building international relationships is also valued. That said, I have concerns. Inflation is rising which is making life harder for many people. There are also worries about possible favoritism and corruption in your administration. Additionally, human rights issues and the handling of natural disasters need more attention My love for our country motivates me to share these concerns. I hope you will address these problems and work for the good of all Filipinos

HOPE AMIDST CHAOS

 The Philippines, situated in the Pacific Ring of Fire, is prone to various natural disasters. Its geographical location, tropical climate, deforestation, climate change, and unsustainable land use practices contribute to its vulnerability. Earthquakes, typhoons, and volcanic eruptions frequently impact the country, causing significant damage and loss of life. Responses to Natural Disasters The Philippine government has implemented various measures to enhance the country's resilience. These include disaster risk reduction plans, early warning systems, evacuation protocols, disaster response teams, infrastructure development, community-based disaster management, and international cooperation. The government has invested in building stronger structures, improving communication systems, and training emergency responders. Challenges in Achieving Resilience Despite these efforts, achieving resilience remains a significant challenge. Limited resources, inadequate infrastructure, lack of public awareness, vulnerability to climate change and geographical isolation hinder the country's ability to respond effectively to disasters. The Philippines faces the daunting task of balancing economic development with disaster risk reduction while also addressing the long term impacts of climate change.

JOYSTICKS AND PAWPRINTS

 I am Gian Carlo Agapinan, 15 years of age and I am currently situated in San Pedro, Vigan City. I am a middle child, and I do most of the work in the house. I am a pet lover; I have 7 cats and 3 dogs, and you can imagine its hard to keep them all fed. I am also a gamer, I mostly play RPGs like Call of Duty, Gods of Olympus, etc. I am also into cycling and I only cycle in my free time I deal with problems head on, whether problems from school or family. I appreciate it when someone else helps me, but I never say it. I have, generally a happy attitude towards anything, and I always try to find good in bad. I am a procrastinator, but I realized that procrastinating never does me any good, maybe it does in the short term but in the long term it always ends up in me cramming that’s why I put it in my mind that if I get my work done earlier, I have more free time later. I am an outgoing person but sometimes I am afraid to go out my comfort zone.

Teacher Appreciation

 Teachers are our and future’s builders; they are that, which constructs the future life of people. Their rapport and hardworking nature along with their focus on raising character and fostering talent makes them essence to society. In addition to the result, educators participate in creating harmonious societies and nurturing people to the best they can be.

We need to pay tribute and acknowledge efforts, commitment and impact of teachers to the society. Their hardworking attitude helps in the advancement of our nation’s standards and positively change in the lives of numerous learners.
